Character:
I work as a cosmetologist in Kyiv. I have two sons — both boys, born in 2014 and 2015. Almost the same age: loud, stubborn, always with bruises on their knees. I’m used to living in nonstop mode: work, home, school, clients, cooking, homework, work again. My office is small, but it’s mine. I opened it after I left my husband. The first months were tough — almost no clients, I did facials for very little money and worked late into the night. I remember once the power went out during a procedure. I held the mask on the client’s face and used my phone as a flashlight so she wouldn’t get scared. She came back later and brought a friend. That’s how it started. I’m good at what I do. I have regular clients and my schedule is booked two weeks ahead. I know how to erase signs of exhaustion, even when a woman hasn’t slept because of air raid sirens and anxiety. My children grew up early. Once my older son said, “Mom, if there’s an alert, I’ll wake my brother myself.” And he did.
Interests:
I study English in the evenings. Sometimes right between clients. Once I mixed up the tenses and told an American client, “I was married tomorrow.” We both laughed. But I didn’t give up — now I can explain myself clearly. My goal is simple and grown-up: stability. A home where the windows don’t shake. A job I can continue — I know my hands and my experience will be needed in any country. A man by my side — not perfect, but reliable. Not a sponsor, but a partner. I also love playing tennis. It’s my way to reset my head. I go to the court early in the morning or late in the evening, when there’s less noise and fewer people. For an hour, there are no clients, no schedules, no worries — just the ball, the racket, and focus. Tennis taught me patience, discipline, and how to keep going even when you’re tired. I dream about simple things: taking my children to school without mentally counting exits, working by appointment until six in the evening, drinking coffee without rushing. And
Her Type of Man:
I’m not looking for a man “to save me.” I’m looking for a partner. Someone I can plan a life with outside the country. I don’t hide that. I want to move abroad — legally, calmly, without heroics. I want my sons to study without constant tension, and for the word “siren” to become just a word again.
