I currently live in Helsinki and am studying to become a practical nurse. I'm 30, and I like the feeling that life doesn't have to be completely figured out yet. You can learn a new profession, discover new countries, change your plans, and keep discovering new sides of yourself.
My red hair is probably one of the first things people notice about me. But get to know me a little better and you'll discover that behind the bright appearance is someone who can be perfectly happy spending hours in a Finnish forest looking for mushrooms. :) I genuinely love nature. Forest walks and fishing give me a particular sense of peace that city life doesn't always offer.
At the same time, I'm quite active. I go to the gym three or four times a week and love that satisfying tiredness after a good workout. On a quieter evening, though, I'm perfectly capable of settling in with a TV series. I suppose balance suits me: I don't want to choose between activity and comfort, friends and solitude in nature,

If I had to choose between a shopping mall and a walk through the forest, there is a very good chance you'd find me somewhere among the trees—especially during mushroom season. :) Mushroom picking is one of my genuine hobbies, and living in Finland gives me plenty of opportunities for it.
I also love fishing. It's the whole experience I enjoy: nature, water, silence, and waiting. Sometimes a few peaceful hours by a lake can recharge me better than any noisy entertainment.
But I'm definitely not inactive. I go to the gym three or four times a week, and fitness has become a regular part of my routine. I enjoy feeling strong and energetic. When I want to slow down, I'll watch a good series or spend time with friends.
Travel is another big interest of mine. I've already visited Turkey, Denmark, and Italy, and Paris is coming soon. But my biggest travel dream is still ahead of me: Japan. Thailand is high on the list too.

I don't have a ten-point checklist that a man has to match. I don't think genuine attraction can be created from a list of requirements anyway. What matters much more to me is how two people feel when they're together.
I live a fairly active life: I'm studying, I go to the gym several times a week, meet friends, and love traveling. But I don't need to be constantly surrounded by people or entertained. I'm just as happy disappearing into the forest to pick mushrooms or spending a few quiet hours fishing. So I'd love to meet a man who can enjoy different sides of life too.
I like the idea of a relationship where two people become a team without losing themselves. We can each have our own interests, friends, and goals, while gradually creating things that belong to both of us—trips, favorite places, little traditions, and jokes that nobody else understands.
